MILAN — DRAWING THE INVISIBLE. This experience was held in viafarini.org during the 25th celebration of contemporary art day.
During this laboratory 25 participants draw what cannot be seen—the hidden, the veiled.
Through site-specific, temporary installations and sculptures, drawers engage with imagining and portraying the invisible. The experience stimulates personal imagination and interpretation through drawing, fostering an intimate connection to dialogue about difference, the unknown, and the incomprehensible.
Participants explore subjective realities, planting questions and opening doors to new perspectives. The workshop also examines constructed truths, reflecting on how social networks and algorithms shape our opinions and influence our worldview.
This is an opportunity to reflect on our differences, fostering dialogue about tolerance, empathy, and the emotional and cultural “baggage” that each person carries—what often remains unseen yet deeply shapes our perceptions. It emphasizes understanding that “each mind is a world,” and that each person’s vision of hidden truths, like Nietzsche’s “veil,” is unique—sometimes forever beyond full comprehension, as suggested by philosopher Kafka.
