FORSE C’È DIO, FORSE CI SONO IO
— Part of the Museo Palazzo Milo collection, Stanza della Seta. Wax, green synthetic silk, metal support, glass, artificial lighting. “Forse c’è Dio, forse ci sono io” is a suspended journey between truth and illusion, between presence and emptiness. Through wax and green synthetic silk, it transforms display case 4 of the Museo Diffuso di Ficarra into an emotional portal: a green screen that hides and reveals, a fragile veil behind which essence is concealed. The marble-like wax hands and feet embody that illusion that transcends matter, just as truth transcends our perception. Walking through the garden, the path among cracks and voids questions us: if time, reality, and truth are subjective, filtered by desire and our unconscious, what do we really hold on to? Perhaps we need illusions to navigate the world, because the absolute is too fragile to dwell among us.

If even the concept of time is relative, how can we be sure of everything else? … Perhaps behind the veil is God, perhaps it is you, perhaps it is me, or perhaps there is nothing: only emptiness. Faith is blind, but sometimes what matters is believing in your truth.
