Fake Lies — An art happening across the globe, that aims to take the Artificial Intelligence (AI) discussion
outside of the curatorial space and into the city, to open a dialogue about the wonders and dangers of AI. Using AI-generated images, FAKE LIES presents these flyers of fake lost people, things, and animals, that created a specific narrative in each context, creating confusion. This project simulates the critical situation we are living in on social media and in general with Fake News. Sometimes with a joke, others with serious statements, FAKE LIES have so far touched hundreds of people worldwide (Milano, Miami, and Madrid). Today, the boundaries between reality and fiction have disappeared, and “seeing is believing” is no longer a valid statement.
