ARTIFICE
— Multimedia installation, that delves into the necessary illusions that shape our daily experiences. By exploring constructed realities, the work aims to questions our notions of truth, suggesting that a singular, objective truth may not exist. These illusions, whether consciously or unconsciously embraced, help us navigate the complexities of life, making existence more bearable. Like the veil of art and religion, these artifices may be essential in obscuring a harsher reality, the “ugly truth” that lies beneath the surface. Today, algorithms and the cyborg reality we are living have fabricate unique and customized versions of what we perceived as reality, delivering comfortable truths to each of us.  It’s impossible to experience an objective reality. The installation presents three fabricated perspectives: a fake live recording in which the green screen is animated, a fake mirror, and a mysterious entity. This entity could be a sculpture, the artist, or even God himself, seated in the director’s chair as the creator of everything we know and what we might come to know.
